Questions parents and teachers ask

How do the reading comprehension worksheets change by age?

Ages 4 to 6 get very short texts with three simple questions. Ages 7 and 8 read a half-page story or fact text with four questions, and ages 9 and 10 a full page with five, including "why" and "what is the message" questions. Every text is our own, and on a tablet the text can be read aloud.

Are the worksheets really free?

Yes. Make and print as many as you like. The site is paid for by ads, and you never need an account.

How do I save a worksheet as a PDF?

Click "Print or save PDF", then choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") as the printer. The sheet is laid out for A4 or US Letter, so it prints edge to edge without scaling.

Can I get the same sheet again?

Yes. The address bar keeps your settings and a sheet number, so bookmark or share the link to get exactly the same worksheet. "New version" makes a fresh one with the same settings.
